(Speaker in 2019) Sam is a consultant with Renew Publishing Consultants. She has been consulting for five years, working with societies, publishers, technology providers and intermediaries across a wide range of projects. Her core expertise is in strategic marketing, product development, and platforms. She started in the industry in 1999, and has worked in marketing, product management, project management and leadership positions.

Judy Luther

(Speaker in 2020) Judy Luther created Informed Strategies to provide a customer driven focus in the design and development of digital products and services. Expertise in business models, market analyses, streamlined workflows, and strategic initiatives serve to meet the client’s requirements. With a background in higher education as a library director, Judy transitioned to institutional sales and then to consulting when the Internet created new opportunities to rethink the creation, discovery and delivery of digital content. Involved in industry initiatives Judy is passionate about maximizing access to content and currently serves on the Coalition for Seamless Access (NISO). A Past President of the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), and a chef in the Scholarly Kitchen, she serves on the editorial boards of The Charleston Advisor, Against the Grain, and Learned Publishing (ALPSP). She earned an MLS at Florida State University and an Executive MBA at Emory University.

Simon Inger

Conference Chair & Consultant - Renew Consultants

(Speaker in 2020) Simon has worked in journals for 33 years, and as a consultant for the last 18 of those, where the work has mostly been with societies and the organisations that serve them. Simon was originally an Oxford electrochemist, before turning his hand to technology, product development, and then launching his first company, CatchWord in 1995.
